Arabic 101:The Meaning of Al-Fatihah

One of the easiest way learning Arabic,especially for Muslims is by understanding the meaning of recitation we frequently used in solat,doa,zikir,and of course the surahs in Holy Quran.This week we will learn the meaning of the first surah in Quran,that is frequently recited during solat,surah Al-Fatihah(The Opening).
Salah satu cara termudah mempelajari bahasa Arab,terutamanya Muslim ialah memahami maksud bacaan dalam solat,doa,zikir dan sudah tentu surah-surah dalam Al-Quran.Minggu ini kita akan mempelajari maksud surah pertama yang digunakan dalam solat,iaitu surah Al-Fatihah(Pembukaan)
The Meaning
1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيم
- Bismillāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm
- In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
- Dengan nama Allah, Yang Maha Pemurah, lagi Maha Pengasih.
- Al ḥamdu lillāhi rabbi l-'ālamīn
- Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds
- Segala puji tertentu bagi Allah, Tuhan yang memelihara dan mentadbirkan sekalian alam.
- Ar raḥmāni r-raḥīm
- The Beneficent, the Merciful.
- Yang Maha Pemurah, lagi Maha Pengasih.
- Māliki yawmi d-dīn
- Owner of the Day of Judgement
- Yang Menguasai pemerintahan hari Pembalasan (hari Akhirat).
- Iyyāka na'budu wa iyyāka nasta'īn
- Thee(You) do we worship, and Thine(You) aid we seek.
- Engkaulah sahaja (Ya Allah) Yang Kami sembah, dan kepada Engkaulah sahaja kami memohon pertolongan.
- Ihdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭ al-mustaqīm
- Show us the straight path,
- Tunjukilah kami jalan yang lurus.
- Ṣirāṭ al-laḏīna an'amta 'alayhim ġayril maġḍūbi 'alayhim walāḍ ḍāllīn
- The path of those whom Thou(You) hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine(You) anger nor of those who go astray.
- Iaitu jalan orang-orang yang Engkau telah kurniakan nikmat kepada mereka, bukan (jalan) orang-orang yang Engkau telah murkai, dan bukan pula (jalan) orang-orang yang sesat.
